Admission Fees and Discounts
Answer
No, there aren't. We at HANSA-PARK instead opted for a discount pricing system that is fair to and takes account of the needs of all guests. The pricing system is designed to allow for affordable day and season tickets, low parking fees and customer-friendly prices at our eateries and souvenir shops.
Answer
During the season you can get the HANSA-PARK season ticket at the Park or online at https://shop.hansapark.de.
The benefits of a season ticket are specified in our season ticket terms and conditions at https://www.hansapark.de/sk-terms.
Answer
The valid all-inclusive entrance fee applies throughout the season. If you visit us in the pre- and/or post-season, you will still be able to enjoy the entire range of the Park’s offers. On top of that, queues at all attractions will be much shorter saving you a lot of waiting time.
Answer
It may indeed happen that the operation of individual attractions has to be interrupted despite precautionary maintenance measures because of necessary technical inspections. As safety is of the highest priority, this can never be fully excluded. In such cases of force majeure we hope you will understand and accept that we cannot refund your admission fee. These attractions will be open again later in the day. A notice at the box office will inform you about which attractions are not in service before you enter the Park.
Answer
Unfortunately not. Our entrance fees are all inclusive, which means visitors can use all Park attractions free of charge. Each guest can choose his or her own favourites from over 125 attractions. At certain times in the spring and autumn, we invite groups of socially disadvantaged or disabled fellow citizens to visit HANSA-PARK. Which groups will be invited is decided exclusively by umbrella organisations for social services that are in a better position to assess individual needs.
Answer
HANSA-PARK’s concept is based on the principle ‘children come first’. As a park known to be particularly child-friendly we want to make sure that our little guests who celebrate their birthday at the Park are paid special attention. The complimentary admission is HANSA-PARK’s exclusive present to them. We hope you will understand that our birthday present is available to birthday children only.
Answer
Unfortunately, we are not able to offer special prices to guests who do not want to or cannot use all our ride attractions. The more than 125 attractions in the Park, the use of which is included in the admission fee, offer something for everyone. We stage numerous live shows, for instance, the family show with our HANSA-PARK mascots at the Aqarena or our international variety show programme at North Germany’s largest show theatre or the Fairground Booth Magic at our open-air stage.
Pay our display of maritime exhibits a visit or take a stroll through our themed gardens. In particular, we would like to mention our quieter attractions, such as the "Flower Magic" Boat Tour or the Park Train.
Answer
The HANSA-PARK admission fee is an all-inclusive price, i.e. all attractions and shows are free of charge. We hope you will understand and accept that you can only use or visit HANSA-PARK’s attractions and shows if you hold a valid entrance ticket.
Answer
It is quite often impossible to guess the age of a child. Some children are taller than others their age; some look more mature, etc. This is especially so for children aged 10 to 12. We hope you understand that for reasons of equal treatment our employees may at times ask you to present an identity card or other documents. Please bring along some kind of proof, such as e.g. a birth certificate or a children's identity card / passport and submit it upon request.
Answer
A day ticket entitles you to enter HANSA-PARK on the day of your visit once only as our staff can only scan the tickets once. However you may, of course, leave the Park in between for a short time. Before you exit the Park, please approach our staff at the exit by the Holstentor. They will put a stamp on your hand that is valid for the day of your visit.
Just present the stamp to our staff when you return and you will be allowed to re-enter HANSA-PARK.
Answer

You are very welcome to take photos and film before and after the performance. For copyright reasons taking photos and filming during the performances is not permitted.
Answer
As our artists endeavour to present you a perfect show, they need to be able to concentrate fully. That is why we ask you to be on time. Allowing you to enter after the show has started would disrupt the minutely planned programme as well as the other guests.
Answer
In all our arenas and theatres there are seats reserved for wheelchair users. Just approach one of our staff at the entrance. He or she will point them out to you.
Answer
The use of our ride attractions by adults is not generally subject to any height and size restrictions. However, for safety reasons we are not permitted to admit persons who due to their physique do not fit in the seats as required or who cannot be supported safely by the safety lap bar.
We strictly comply with these regulations, which have been imposed by TÜV and recommended by the manufacturer, to ensure the safety of our guests. However, as each person has a unique physique and physical make-up, our trained staff will decide on a case-to-case basis if it is safe for a person to sit on a ride, and we recommend you talk to our staff at the respective ride attraction before you board. We are certain the Park offers many attractions that you will enjoy.
If you cannot use individual attractions, we hope to have your understanding that we will not refund the entrance fee in full or in part.
Visiting in a Group

Unfortunately, this is not possible at the moment as we require proof upon purchase of the tickets that the tickets are indeed intended for a group. At the box office we will write down the name and address of your group to be able to grant you the group discount. Thank you for your understanding.
Children’s Birthday Parties
Answer
Unfortunately more and more people try to cheat and purchase discounted entrance tickets although it's not their children's birthday. Our employees have therefore been instructed to request proof and check the age of our guests carefully.
We need you to present proper proof of age for birthday children up to and including 12 years of age. Any of the following documents will be accepted as proof: a copy of the birth certificate or valid children's passport, your health insurance card showing the name and birth date of your child, or similar.
Online Tickets
Answer
As this type of entrance ticket is subject to certain criteria, we hope you will understand and accept that they cannot be bought via the internet.
